We are excited to be offering the one-week “Early Taste” CSA for the first time! Pick-ups are Wednesday, June 5th 11am - 6pm or Saturday, June 8th, 9am - 3pm. This is a one-time smaller offering than what we have in the regular Vegetable CSA, but it otherwise operates very similarly. There will be vegetables (mostly greens this week) that we have harvested for you in our CSA distribution area, and then there will be a pick-your-own component out in the field. We’ll give you a smaller bag to fill in the CSA distribution area and we’ll also give you containers for picking out in the field. See below for a list of what we’ll have. We do still have some spots available in the Early Taste, as well as in our regular CSA, which you can sign up for here: http://www.barrettsmillfarm.com/online-store.
We are also still offering online pre-ordering for the remainder of strawberry season to give those who can’t make it to the store early the opportunity to reserve ahead of time. We’ll have other veggies and flowers that you can order as well. We should have a better strawberry supply this week, but we still don’t anticipate them lasting until the very end of the day!
