Come to the Concord Agriculture Committee's annual Spring Forum, where you'll hear a presentation by Brandeis professor Brian Donahue touching on the history of farming in Concord. Brian Donahue is the author of several works on New England farming, including The Great Meadow: Farmers and the Land in Colonial Concord (2004). He was also a part of the team that compiled A New England Food Vision: Healthy Food for All, Sustainable Farming and Fishing, Thriving Communities (2014). You'll also have a chance to meet some of your present-day Concord farmers. Light refreshments will be provided.
